Changes in Nursing - the past 40 years
Cilla Freud Changes in Nursing over the past 40 years and how these have affected not only the care of patients but also the role of the nurse. Cilla Freud worked as a nurse in the community and the acute sector from the late 1960's until she retired 4 years ago. Since then she has been using her expertise in patient and public involvement, working closely with Camden NHS (PCT) to produce service specifications with a patient point of view. She is presently a member of the Local Involvement Network in Camden (CLINk) and on the Camden Clinical Commissioning Board as a patient representative. Her passion is that patients and their carers get a say in any changes in the health and social care system that may affect them.
